Remy has recently joined HMCO’s Finance team in the Dubai office as a Junior Associate.
Her area of expertise originally covered litigation, and she has since made the shift to the commercial and corporate practices of the law in the Middle East region, with a focus on the incorporation, corporate governance and restructuring of entities, particularly within the Abu Dhabi Global Market(“ADGM”).
Remy has also worked in the media field in Lebanon as a production manager, where she oversaw the production process from start to finish for numerous films, and television series, inclusive of securing financing and the conclusion of the acquisition of the project’s rights, and distribution contracts.

- Member of the Beirut Bar Association.
- BA in Law with Summa Cum Laude Honors from Notre Dame University – Louaize, Lebanon.
- BA in communication Arts – Television and Film Notre Dame University – Louaize, Lebanon.

Legal Field:
- Provided support and assisted with the incorporation of SPVs and Tech start-ups in the ADGM.
- Drafted resolutions, transfer certificates, and amended the AoA of a client entity in the ADGM, while completing all forms for the transfer of shares.
- Drafted, reviewed, and conducted due diligence for various merger and acquisition transactions.
- Reviewed and amended a Mexican company’s agreements templates, terms and conditions, and privacy policy in accordance with UAE regulations and assisted with the establishment of their subsidiary in the UAE.
- Advised on changes in corporate governance of a client entity incorporated in the ADGM and drafted the necessary documents.
- Drafted legal opinions and memorandums in relation to employment in accordance with different freezone employment regulations, and UAE Labor Law.
