Ghazal Tarabzouni has completed her Bachelors in Law LLB from King’s College London and obtained her LLM with a distinction – covering: Law of Islamic Finance, Human Rights of Women, Human Rights and Islamic Law, International Protection of Human Rights.

Ghazal is a qualified attorney admitted to practice by the Ministry of Justice in Saudi Arabia in 2020 and is part of Finance department in Hammad & Al-Mehdar Law Firm since July 2018.

  • Advised and assisted local and international clients in establishing private equity, venture capital, and debt funds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in accordance with Capital Market Authority regulations, including acting as fund counsel for various funds.
  • Drafted fund documentation and advising clients on the launch and marketing of their foreign funds in KSA.
  • Represented government-owned anchor investors in their investments and commitments to various VC funds in KSA.
  • Established Venture Studios and Accelerators in the KSA, managing the applicable governance framework, and advising on the overall structure and setup.
  • Provided mentorship sessions to startups and entrepreneurs in accelerator programs, advising on structuring and licensing requirements to enter the KSA market.
  • Advised multinational clients on the sale of business assets, which include drafting and reviewing relevant agreements.

  • Advised on corporate structuring options to fit international and local clients' needs, drafting joint venture agreements, articles of association, and bylaws.
  • Drafted, reviewed, and conducted due diligence on commercial contracts to ensure compliance with KSA laws, including for franchise and agency registrations.
